Hi! I’m a researcher, artist, organiser, usually busy with something that has to do with digital culture. In May 2024 I joined the Socially Intelligent Artificial Systems group at the Informatics Institute, University of Amsterdam, as a PhD candidate, so currently most of my time is spent on research. My PhD project is in the domain of computational narrative understanding, focused on exploring sociotechnical systems through narratives. This touches broader fields like NLP, HCI and STS. Alongside my academic work, I continue developing artistic projects and organising/curating in the cultural sector. I find inspiration in digital storytelling, code-based art, media archaeology and archival studies.
The overview of work and writing linked through above currently cuts off around 2021. I plan to get this updated soon. :)
